David J. Thrower

 David J. Thrower serves as the Managing Shareholder of Dietze and Davis, P.C. David is also the Presiding Municipal Judge in the Towns of Superior, Estes Park, Mead, and Nederland, as well as a Relief Judge in the Cities of Longmont and Louisville.  He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Colorado Municipal Judges Association and is a member of its Planning and Executive Committees.  David is also on the Board of Directors for Tru Community Care, which is a non-profit organization providing hospice and elder care services.

 David is a Colorado native who received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colorado College in 1991, where he majored in History/Political Science and was a member of the Dean’s List.  He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Creighton University School of Law, Omaha, Nebraska in 1994, where he placed first in a National Law Student Legal Writing Competition.  He has practiced in Boulder since 1995, and has been at Dietze and Davis, P.C. since 2001. 

 His areas of practice include estate planning, transactions, entity formation, general business matters, local government law, municipal judicial services, and landlord/tenant matters.  David represents a broad spectrum of clients including entrepreneurs, large companies and municipalities.  David enjoys the opportunity to serve the community while remaining as counsel to clients in unrelated matters.   

 In his free time, David can be found in the Colorado outdoors with his wife and friends.  He also enjoys travel, particularly to East Africa.
