Christina M. Gonsalves
Christina was born and raised in San Jose, California and received her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from UC Berkeley in 2010. Prior to law school, Christina worked as a marketing operations and automations manager in the Silicon Valley, for both a startup and then a Fortune 500 company, where she was responsible for the strategy, implementation, and management of marketing automation programs, processes, and systems. Working in teams and leading her own, Christina’s previous career in marketing provided her with a hands-on understanding of business, corporations, and marketing, as well as invaluable problem solving, project management, and interpersonal skills.
In 2017, Christina began attending the University of Colorado Law School. During law school, she worked as an intern for a satellite communications company, the Colorado Office of the Attorney General, the law school’s Civil Practice Clinic, and the Boulder District Court, Twentieth Judicial District. Through those experiences, she honed her legal research and writing skills and gained experience in case management and pre-trial litigation.
After graduating and receiving her Juris Doctor of Law in 2020, Christina clerked for the Hon. Ericka F. H. Englert of the Denver District Court, Second Judicial District, in a domestic relations docket and then a criminal docket. As a law clerk, she drafted evidentiary and post-conviction orders, and assisted with motions hearings, jury selection, jury trials, and other court proceedings. During her clerkship, she gained first-hand experience in Colorado’s trial courts and rules of civil procedure and evidence.
Christina is licensed to practice law in California, Colorado, the U.S. District of Colorado and the 10th Circuit of Appeals. Since joining Dietze and Davis in 2021, her current practice focuses on advocating for individuals, businesses, non-profits and government agencies in employment, premises liability, discrimination and civil rights matters, and contract disputes.
In her spare time, Christina enjoys taking care of her indoor plants, playing sports outside, and spending time with friends and family.
