Stephen A. Closky

Stephen A. Closky served as President of the Boulder County Bar Association in 2006-2007.  He received his law degree from the American University/Washington College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.  He is a graduate of the Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey. 

Steve has a sophisticated divorce, family law and domestic relations practice, including alimony, maintenance, child support and child custody matters.  He typically represents successful professionals, executives, business owners and beneficiaries of family trusts and has significant experience handling complex divorce-related marital property, business, trust, retirement, executive compensation and real estate matters. 

Steve has practiced law since 1994.  Prior to joining Dietze and Davis as a shareholder in 2006, Steve enjoyed practicing divorce and family law as a sole practitioner for Stephen A. Closky, P.C.  He has also served as a staff attorney for the Cook County Circuit Court in Chicago, Illinois.  Steve is a member of the Boulder County and Colorado Bar Associations.

Steve lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife and two children.  He enjoys biking, hiking and skiing with his family.
