Dietze and Davis, P.C. is pleased to announce the establishment of the Peter C. Dietze Scholarship Fund at the University of Colorado Law School. The Fund is being established by Dietze and Davis, P.C. to honor Peter’s notable career both inside and outside the courtroom, as well as the mentorship, leadership, and friendship he provided, and continues to provide, to those around him.
Peter graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 1962 and has served as Boulder’s assistant city attorney between 1963 and 1965 and as the city attorney between 1965 and 1968. Peter co-founded Dietze and Davis, P.C. with his friend and classmate, Joel Davis, in 1972 and recently retired after a long and accomplished career in real estate title insurance law. Over the course of his career, Peter participated in over fifty Colorado appellate court cases and several federal appellate court cases. He also has given generously to his alma mater, previously serving as Regent, member of the CU Law Alumni Advisory Board, and member of the University of Colorado Real Estate Foundation.
The Peter C. Dietze Scholarship Fund will be used to provide scholarship awards each academic year to students enrolled in the University of Colorado Law School who have exhibited financial need and who intend to practice in Colorado after graduating.
